Upholstery Cleaning and Care

Upholstery Care is actually quite similar to Carpet Care and Fiber Care, only much slower, and much more gentle. Some fibers cannot be cleaned with water. We’ll always ask how you’ve had it cleaned in the past, and check furniture labels for cleaning instructions. We will always follow the label instructions.

1. First we inspect your upholstery for any areas that need extra, or extra gentle attention.
2. Next, we apply our pH balanced, Activated Enzyme pre-spray and let it dwell to loosen the soil.
3. We agitate any heavily soiled areas to further loosen soils and body oils and retreat, if necessary.
4. Then we gently clean, rinsing away all of the soils and oils and 98% of the moisture.
5. FREE General Deodorization on every piece of furniture or mattress we clean.
6. SCOTCHGUARD® is highly recommended after every cleaning of primary furniture and every other cleaning of secondary furniture.
7. We prop up cushions and pillows to speed dry time. Ceiling fans, or a good area fan will dry furniture to touch in about an hour, ready for use in another.
8. Plastic squares or blocks go under the legs to protect your furniture and carpet.
