Specialty Stain Removal

Red Stains, Bleach Spots, Ink, Rust, Tar, Wax, Motor Oil, Kitchen Grease, Make-Up, Gum, Fingernail Polish, Glue...

This is a partial list of things that usually cause what Carpet Chemist calls “Specialty Stains” - basically “permanent” stains that you cannot get out, and will not come out with our normal deep cleaning. Carpet Chemist can usually get all of these “permanent” type stains out if they are not set in by time or chemicals or dreaded scrubbing.

On the other hand, we have seen many “Stains” that turned out to be simple “Spots” that just didn’t come out with the last cleaners old fashioned, inadequate cleaning method, or “reappeared” due to incomplete extraction. Unless you know exactly what the Stain is, or just had it thoroughly cleaned, we usually recommend our Deepest Clean You’ve Ever Seen first. The results will amaze you.

Bright colored stains that remain are usually caused by food dyes or ink and need Carpet Chemist’s expert and immediate attention. More products than you can imagine have food dyes to make them more visually appealing. Juice - all colors of the rainbow, cherries – red, dog food – red, and dogs are colorblind, & even some decaff coffee has brown dye to make it look “dark and rich”, replacing color lost in the decaffeination process.

If you don’t mess with these Specialty Stains too much first, we can usually get them out so you’ll never know they were there. Definitely blot up, or extract all spills and use Carpet Chemist Revenge! Cleaner and Deodorizer Immediately according to the label on the bottle. If Revenge! wont get the Stain out after a few shots, our expert attention will be necessary.

Call us immediately 573-228-3366. Bleached spots are the same, if you don’t mess with it, Carpet Chemist can neutralize the beaching agent and permanently replace the lost color with the same dyes used in the mills.
