• First, we apply our Activated Enzyme Pre-Spray to emulsify stubborn oils and ground in soils.
• Next, we agitate your carpet with our special carpet rake to loosen soils and pre-fluff carpet fibers making our cleaning more effective and efficient giving you better results.
• Hot, soft water and gentle, pH balanced cleaning solution are injected deep into your carpet’s fibers, then immediately and consistently extracted with our Hi-Tech Rotary Cleaning Machine - up to 20 or 30 cleaning and drying passes over every square inch! That’s enough to get out all the dirt, not just the surface dirt, so your carpets last longer, and our massive, truck mounted suction and recovery system removes 95% of the moisture so your carpets dry faster, with no residue!

Other Cleaning Methods Leave Dirt and Residue Behind that can Re-soil and Wear Out Your Carpet!

• Old Fashioned Wand Method – Forget About It!!
  • Only cleans in one direction so it tends to lay the fibers down and clean one side only.
  • Less effective - Relies solely on strength and effort of wand operator. Having a bad/long day can mean having a bad cleaning.
  • Inconsistent – You may get 1 cleaning pass here, 2 there, 3 there, 1 drying pass here, 2 there… You’ll never consistently get 20-40 cleaning and drying passes like you will from Carpet Chemist.
  • Incomplete- we know of no wand that allows the operator to view the soiled water as it’s extracted from your carpet the way our Rotary Cleaning Machine does. If you can’t see that all of the dirt is gone during the cleaning, how do you really know all the dirt is gone? Hmm…
  • Time consuming – old fashioned wand method can take more than twice as long to complete.
• Bonnet Cleaning Method – Forget About It!!
  • VERY LOW-TECH with Poor Results.
  • Abrades fibers and may untwist or “fuzz” fibers in plush carpet – Not Fixable, even by The Carpet Chemist!
  • No extraction to remove heavy ground in sand, soil & cinders – The stuff that destroys your expensive carpets and rugs.
  • Only removes surface dirt for the appearance of clean!
  • No rinse leaves residue that actually attracts more dirt.
  • Not recommended by major manufacturers to maintain warranty, actually discouraged.
• Portable “Hot Water” Extraction Units – Forget About It!!
  • Beware of slick salespeople/cleaning techs, you might just spend more than having Carpet Chemist do it right the first time. Many portable operators are not all that serious about doing your job right the first time.
  • Most portable units have little more suction than your vacuum cleaner. Hg or “inches of lift” mean nothing. Massive CFM or Cubic Feet per Minute suction like we use is the only way to get out all the heavy, deep down, ground in dirt.
  • They usually use your hot water at 130F Max. Our Truck Mount heats our water to 220F for better soil emulsification.
  • Little extraction to remove heavy ground in sand, soil & cinders – The stuff that destroys your expensive carpets.
  • Only removes surface dirt for the appearance of clean!
  • Not recommended by major manufacturers to maintain warranty.
  • Messy and Risky– Usually sloshing buckets of dirty water around your home to dump in your clean toilet, in your clean bathroom.
